What is U-Service?
U-Service is a fully working workshop and DIY Self Service garage. This is a well-organised clean well laid out work space that allows the public and trade to carry out their own service, repair, and modification work in the safety of a monitored garage environment with fully qualified Technicians on hand, all the relevant tools and equipment to make the job in hand as easy as possible.

Once you have booked over the phone simply arrive 15minutes before your time slot. Pop in to our reception area where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. You will be asked the type of work that you intend to carry out and to sign the relevant paperwork, you will then be designated a workspace accordingly. A member of staff will escort you to the workshop area, show you how the ramps work and assess your competence level, you will be supplied with a tool kit (If you have hired a ramp bay). We can stamp and validate your service book on completion of your work providing we are informed beforehand so can make sure we witness the work being carried out and the work has been carried out to a good standard.

4 Post Ramp, 2 Post Ramp, Motorbike Ramp, Full Individual Toolkit, Floor space (with jacks and stands) (2WD Dyno With operator)

We do have specialised tools available i.e. engine and gear box crane, diagnostic tools and timing tools etc.

Consumables are available from our Reception Shop, we have most types of oil and other fluids for sale overalls, gloves, as well as other servicing parts and consumables. We can even arrange for your service parts to be delivered on site please supply you full registration and chassis number when booking we can usually supply them within the hour (subject to availability) from one of our local motor parts suppliers.

Changing your oil and filter during your service? There is a £4 charge to dispose of your old oil and filter.

U-SERVICE OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE: –

Basic Training: – We offer hands on guided training from the basics of understanding your car i.e. understanding the hand book, where the fuses are, topping up fluids, and spare wheel changing etc.
(this training is a vehicle familiarisation and is aimed at customers that have just got a new car or want to know the very basics of their existing car so they don’t get stuck).

Advanced DIY training: – For the more advanced basic maintenance / servicing oil changing, brake servicing etc. (this training is aimed at the DIY enthusiast and not time served mechanics and its aim is to allow the DIY mechanic to service his own vehicle under supervision every time he or she attends our workshop, understanding the importance of using the correct oils in modern vehicles etc). N.B no vehicle will ever leave our workshop without our final inspection for legal reasons.

All above training is available for cars, vans and motorbikes.
